About Austin

I'm a true Oregonian who's spent his entire life in the greater Portland-Metro area. I played college basketball at Linfield College for two years and finished up my schooling at Oregon State University (Go Beavs!), where I graduated with a degree in Business Administration w/ a focus in Entrepreneurship. I started my corporate career after college, where I had the privilege to work for the worldwide leader in sports apparel and footwear. After years of negotiating multi-million-dollar technology contracts and helping companies streamline processes, I knew I had to make a change. I wasn’t passionate about what I was doing and that’s where real estate came in to play.

My lifelong best friend and past business partner, Logan Gerritz, and I had always talked about teaming up in real estate. His family has been involved in the Portland real estate market for 40 years, and it’s something we always dreamed of doing together while growing up in the industry. Well, right before Covid-19 rocked our world, I made the switch to real estate and I’ve never looked back. I’m so grateful to do what I do now and help people achieve their dreams! Logan and I worked together for almost 4 years as real estate partners and I've now joined eXp Realty to start my own brand - "Austin Hunt Real Estate"! I’m surrounded by incredible people, mentors, and resources at eXp Realty, and I’ve found my calling as I now own my own business with an amazing team of individuals around me! My years of collaborating with people from all over the world and negotiating massive corporate contracts have given me the tools to strategically approach every real estate transaction and ensure my clients get the best deal possible, whether selling their house or helping them buy one. I’m an expert communicator, which can make a huge difference in every real estate-related scenario.

I'm a licensed real estate broker in Oregon and Washington and when you become a client of mine, you become a lifelong friend. As your agent, I will go above and beyond to ensure all your worries and reservations are taken care of. Whether that's climbing up into the attic or wandering through the crawl space myself, I will do whatever it takes to ensure my clients are protected and ecstatic with their purchase! When I'm not working, I love watching and playing sports, creating lasting memories with my family and friends, camping and fishing, and making sure to enjoy the moment!
